Hand-Carved Santa And Reindeer Miniatures In Spunwood Gift Box. Unique creations originating in the village of Seiffen, Germany are formed using wood turning techniques in a process known as “Reifendrehen” to form rings, the cross-section of which form the outline of the desired figure, which is then carved and painted by hand. The technique emerged around the 1800’s and requires great skill. Our spun wood box contains a Santa, reindeer and a miniature tree. Tree and Santa are 3¼” H; Box is 3½” Dia. Germany.
